Stadium Parking - On-Site or Off-Site?

Parking AT the stadium of your choice is a no-brainer, right? It requires little, if any planning, and the only thing you have to worry about is whether your seats are equidistant to the nacho/beer line and restrooms. All you do is hop in your car and head right on over to the stadium to find the closest parking spot available. Simple enough, right?

Well, the first problem you encounter is that many of the on-site stadium lots are for season ticket holders. Strike one. Then after a bit of searching you still find a decent lot not too far away but you have to fork over…WHAT…$50. (Yup that’s right. Stadium parking lots in many parts of the country costs that much. In fact, Cowboys Stadium parking is between $60 and $75.) Strike two. Finally, after an enjoyable day at the stadium, you head back to your car only to find out 50,000 other crazed fans are also heading back to their car in the SAME lot as you. Add another 2 hours to your commute. Strike three.

All of that could’ve been avoided if you spent 5-10 minutes online to plan your trip. Visit your favorite search engine like Google, and type “‘your stadium name’ followed by the word “parking” (i.e. Madison Square Garden parking) and voila, a host of information at your fingertips. Chances are one of the top search results you’ll see to find parking or reserve parking at is ParkWhiz.com. (Seriously, try it!). To save time in the future, though, skip the search engine altogether and just head over to www.ParkWhiz.com. Once you’re here, click on the team/stadium of your choice and you’ll be greeted with a list of parking options, almost ALL of which are off-site parking locations to the stadium. The distances range from a block away up to a mile from the stadium. Some lots provide a shuttle service to take you to and from the stadium, others have tailgating and restrooms for your convenience, and others have easy entry/exit on the highway. Sure you may have to walk a bit more than if you parked right at the stadium, but considering you’ll pay considerably less, know EXACTLY where you will park ahead of time, and not deal with the traffic congestion getting OUT of the parking lot, isn’t that worth it? Plus, it’s a great way to lose those nacho cheese calories!

We currently offer reserved, off-site parking at the following stadiums (with many more to come in the coming months):

Cowboys Stadium
Madison Square Garden
Fenway Park
Wrigley Field
AT&T Park
Busch Stadium
US Cellular Field

If your favorite stadium isn’t listed, contact us at info@parkwhiz.com and we’ll let you know when it will.
