Convenience is key in your daily life. You function off calendar reminders, automatic checking, direct messages, online parking bookings. You’re busy. You work hard. You enjoy life made simple. However, you are told stress is a part of parking. It’s almost as if you are expected to tense up when it’s time to park. Our solution was ParkWhiz, an easy way to find and book parking online, in advance. But what about the pains of on-street parking? Why are parking signs, a daily encounter for most of us, so hard to understand? Well stress no more, Designer Nikki Sylianteng has come up with a visually compelling fix for those confusing on-street parking signs.
Powered by her own misfortune with parking sign interpretation the designer set out to create a sign that is simple with easily digestible parking information. Ms. Sylianteng’s new design – shown in the comparison below – focuses on a familiar color code and an X-Y timetable, devices ingrained in us since elementary school.
We are happy to see that others are thinking of how to make your better daily parking experience!
